Welcome to the Isle of Wight Ukulele Festival 2016
The Isle of Wight is famous for its music festivals with the world renowned Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival as well as many slightly lesser well known blues, jazz and folk festivals. So, with ukulele festival mania sweeping the country, members of the Wight Ukers ukulele group thought it was high time that the island had its own ukulele festival. That's why we are proud and very excited to announce .... the first Isle of Wight Ukulele Festival!
Meet the Luthier
Here's your chance to meet Master Luthier Rob Collins!
Rob will present a few of the many ukuleles that he has made, introduce you to some of his construction techniques and discuss the different types of wood that he uses. He will gladly answer any questions you may have on ukulele building. A fantastic opportunity to hear first-hand about a fascinating subject!
